We got tired of the same cafe formula. No innovation. No real sense of community — even in the smaller coffee shops. We set out to change that.

The Doors Reopen
Two Palestinian cousins take over the established Oklahoma-native coffee chain White Buffalo at 6118 Gunn Hwy, Tampa FL. Tired of the same cafe mojo, they reopen their doors to their first venture in the cafe world — with a vision to bring real innovation and community back to the coffee space.
Phase 1 Remodel Complete
Three months of transformation. The store sheds its old skin and begins to look like Eclipse Cafe. The brand identity starts taking shape — a darker, bolder, more intentional space where every detail reflects the founders' vision of what a modern cafe should feel like.
Florida's First Functional Mushroom Cafe
The first mushroom drink is served. Eclipse Cafe fully embodies its identity as Florida's first functional mushroom cafe — the first on the entire East Coast. A laser focus on crafting premium coffee and matcha drinks infused with adaptogens and functional mushrooms for a healthier mind and body.
Official Lunch Menu Launch
Fresh paninis, wraps, artisan toast, and combo meals join the menu. Eclipse Cafe becomes a full-day destination — not just your morning coffee stop, but your lunch spot, your afternoon pick-me-up, and your evening wind-down.
